Shop engulfed in fire at Margao

MARGAO, APRIL 12
A major fire engulfed a shop and two kiosks at the old fish market area behind the Margao Municipal building in the wee hours of Monday.
The incident is believed to have occurred at around 3 am and the fire has destroyed property worth over Rs six lakhs.
Margao Fire brigade rushed to the site and brought the raging fire under control. The two kiosks were totally destroyed in the incident
The fast food shop Ambica is believed to have sustained a loss of over Rs five lakh.
This is the second time in the last one month that the shop and the kiosks have been gutted in a fire.
The fire services are investigating the incident.
