Any decision of the Goa government to impose censorship on tiatr will kill this great art form. Goa is a special State in India where people come from all over the world just to experience some heavenly happiness. It is where one has the liberty to produce and serve feni and the liberty to produce and stage a tiatr. Goa is beautiful, not just because of it natural attractions, but also because of its culture. The Goan people and those from other regions who speak Konkani wait to see Konkani tiatrs. The Goa government should support tiatrs financially as this is Goan culture. Censorship will be the beginning of killing Goa’s beauty. By censorship tiatr production will slow down. The government should think positively on this and save the beauty of Goa.
