MARGAO: A joint inspection of the Hospicio Hospital was held on Tuesday by the Hospicio, Fire, PWD and other authorities. The Hospicio will submit the inspection report to the Health Department which will take a call on the further course of action.
Hospicio Medical Superintendent Dr Ira Almeida, Deputy Collector Uday Prabhudessai, Deputy Director of Margao Fire Station Nitin Raikar, PWD, police and other officials were present for the inspection.
The team inspected the water treatment unit, lift unit, the structure and also the dialysis unit. Dr Ira Almeida said, “We have inspected the important areas of the building and will further prepare a report and submit the same to the Health Department soon for further course of action.”
The doctor also made a mention that while inspecting the unit it was noticed that the doctor in-charge of the dialysis unit was absent even after he was asked to remain present for the inspection.
