PANJIM: In an accident at airport road in Dabolim, 18-year-old Sohail Khan died after the bike on which he was riding pillion met with an accident. Saddik Shaik, the youth riding the bike is grievously injured.
Vasco Police said that the two bikes were racing and the deceased was sitting on one of the bikes.
“When the rider of the bike Shaikh, 19, tried to overtake a Maruti car, he banged the bike on the divider and then hit the car,” police officials said. Both are residents of Baina, Vasco.
The deceased was taken to a private hospital in Chicalim where doctors declared him brought dead.
