‘Goa Medical College hospital to offer free IVF treatment’

PORVORIM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane told the House that by August 14, GMC’s super-specialty block will introduce a free IVF treatment facility in association with an infertility expert. “This will make Goa the first State to provide free IVF treatment in India,” Rane said.

Rane also ruled out privatisation of South Goa district hospital. He said that not a single public hospital in the State will be privatised, but will take on board specialists.
