PANJIM: The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Bicholim, has sent Pramod Gawas, the accused in the Tivim hit and run case, in police custody for four days.
In a tragic incident, Sujata Salgaonkar, 26, from Nachinola was killed after the scooter which she was riding came under the wheels a truck at Tivim on Saturday. Both Sujata and the truck were proceeding towards Assanora from Tivim when the accident occurred. The truck dashed against the scooter from behind due to which Sujata came under the wheels of the truck.
