PANJIM: Shanti Niketan School (SNS) the educational component of El Shaddai Charitable Trust celebrated Vanamohatsava on July 25. Deputy Sarpanch of Assagao, Anand Khandolkar was the chief guest. Rajesh Naik, Panch was also present as guest of honour along with the staff, management, teachers and students of Shanti Niketan School.
The students put up a skit portraying the importance of trees in our lives. This was followed by a video presentation on Vanamohatsava. A sapling plantation drive was undertaken in the school campus with the dignitaries as well as the teachers and students planting saplings to mark the day. Teacher Mary proposed the vote of thanks.
