PANJIM: The fourth edition of Sumati and Venkatesh Shanbhag All Goa Rapid Chess Championship will be held on November 25 and 26, at St Theresa’s High School Hall, Mangoor Hill, Vasco. The prize money for the tournament is Rs 25,000, rolling trophy plus total 68 trophies in main standing and various categories to promote chess among young school students. Devesh Naik did a hat-trick last year and lifted rolling trophy. There will be nine rounds with time control of 25+5. Fide Arbiter Swapil Hoble will be chief arbiter and Prashant Raikar is the tournament director. Mukund Kambli is the organising Secretary. The tournament is organised by MTCA under the aegis of Goa Chess Association. Entries are open to all and entries should be submitted to Swapnil Hoble and Mukund Kambli.
