GU not to hike tuition fees

To allow students to pay fees in installments

PANJIM: In view of COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Goa University has decided not to increase the tuition fees for the academic year 2020-21, while allowing students to pay fees in installments.

The decision has been taken to ease the financial burden on the parents during current pandemic. 

Goa University Registrar YV Reddy in a circular has said the University has decided not to increase the tuition and other fees for the current academic year, across all its under graduate and post graduate courses. 

“Also, permit students seeking admissions to and those enrolled for the various UG and PG programmes on the university campus to pay their fees online in installments,” the circular mentions. 

The online classes across all Colleges, affiliated to Goa University, will commence from September 1 onwards.
