PANJIM: Reacting sharply to the promises given by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant claimed that only those who will never come to power can make such assurances like getting the sun and the stars to Goa.
Sawant also questioned the track record of the Delhi government led by Kejriwal when it came to providing jobs, particularly government related employment opportunities.

Asserting that the State government had done a lot when it came to providing jobs to Goans, Sawant said that locals are even getting private sector jobs in the State.
He then referred to initiatives taken by the State government such as the Model Career Centre, which he said has already shown results. He also spoke about how skill upgradation is being done through the International Training Institutes (ITIs) in Goa.
“BJP knows how to keep their promises” said Sawant, while talking about the track record of his government and the previous BJP government.
He also denied charges that his party has been copying AAP’s schemes saying, “It is Kejriwal who is copying my schemes and not the other way around”.
