MARGAO: Burglars broke into a locked house near Sao Jose de Areal and decamped with gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs 1.8 lakh.
Based on the complaint Maina-Curtorim police have registered the offence under Section 454, 457 and 380 of IPC.

Upon information the police visited the place with a dog squad and fingerprint experts.
Police informed that the targeted house was closed for three days and the thieves broke open the front door of the house for entry.
