VAGATOR: United Club Nerul beat hosts Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club 3-0 to move into the next round of the 22nd Vagator Soccer 2022 organised by Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club, at Vagator Parish Youth Sports Club ground, Ozran, on Wednesday.
United Club Nerul took the lead in the first minute as Anson D’Souza scored from a loose ball let by the Vagator defenders.

Vagator failed to equalise in the 13th minute where a shot from Saiesh Govekar was denied by the Nerul keeper and a corner-kick taken by Nyron Dias in the 23rd minute where a header from Dadaphir Adur just missed by a whisker.
In the 25th minute, Anson Pereira netted the second goal for United Club Nerul.
At crossing ends, Vagator kept trying to find loop holes in the Nerul defence while a cross from Nyron Dias in the 58th minute from the right flank was fed on the platter for Nathan D’silva but he failed to tap it in.
In the 70th minute, Vagator conceded an own goal by Saiesh Govekar.
The man-of-the-match was awarded to Anson D’souza of United Club Nerul.
