VASCO: A 35-year-old truck driver from Sangli-Maharashtra was arrested on charges of driving in a rash manner, leading to the injury of a two-wheeler rider at IDC Verna on Thursday.
According to Verna police, the incident took place at about 7.05 am, when the truck (MH-18-M-3664), driven by Tanaji K Awate, struck a motorcycle (GA-09-J-8378), causing injuries to the motorcycle rider.
The truck driver has been arrested under Sections 279, 337 IPC and Verna police is investigating the case.
