MARGAO: The Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has alleged that the doctors of Manipal Hospital have thrown medical ethics to the winds.
In a press statement, he said, “MLAs have to now tell doctors especially Dr Shekhar Salkar about medical ethics. I am forced to tell him that medical ethics says no revealing names of patients and donors. Secondly, the preference goes to the waiting list of patients when there are donors and kidney transplant has to be taken up accordingly on those patients.”
“It is hard to believe that so much publicity is given to a hospital which we all know is famous for fleecing patients,” Reginaldo said.
