United Club of Telaulim could have scored an early goal in the fourth minute but Jaison Dias’ shot hit the crossbar and off the rebound, Necel Pinto shot wide.
In the ninth minute, Panchawadi United came close but the rival defence stood their ground.
Thereafter, Jaison Dias sent in a diagonal ball to Necel in the 19th minute and the latter scored with a fierce shot.
At the other end, Kingslee Fernandes floated a ball in the 34th minute to Jaison, who failed to give finishing touches.
Change of ends saw Panchawadi United attack as Agnelo Colaco collected the ball from Paxton Gomes only to see his shot blocked by Ravi Natekar of United Club of Telaulim. Finally, Alvino D’Costa equalized in the 63rd minute for Panchawadi United but Necel made it 2-1 in the 74th minute.
As the match progressed, Panchawadi United restored parity through Agnelo Colaco in the 86th minute.
In another match at Corps of Signals ground, Navelim, the match between Corps of Signals and Goa Police SC ended in a 1-1 draw.
Nakul Singh scored in the 55th minute for Corps of Signals while Abdul Khan equalized for Goa Police SC in the 86th minute.
