PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has insisted that as of date there is no involvement of any politician in any of the scams. He refused to reply to a query whether it was proper for the former Chief Secretary’s purchase of land which he himself signed for conversion saying it is sub-judice. He was replying to reporters after the Cabinet meeting on Thursday 28th, November 2024.
There is no political involvement as of now. CM said all the cases have come out after the government requested the people to file cases.
Sawant said all the land frauds, job scam and gold scam will be probed in a transparent manner. Police have been given a free hand and there will be no interference. Frauds have emerged in Curchorem, Mapusa and Porvorim he pointed out.
