MARGAO: In a twist to the alleged rape of a special child by her father in Salcete, the victim girl has deposed before the South Goa Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vandana Tendulkar denying that she was continuously raped by her father for two years.
It may be recalled that last January complaint was filed by the victim in the presence of NGO at Margao police accusing father of continuously raping the victim in the absence of her mother who left for job in Gulf country in the month December, 2010.
In her deposition, the victim claimed that her father had done nothing to her and also stated that she was not aware of complaint filed while denying of being taken for medical examination to the Goa Medical College hospital, Bambolim after the complaint. Further, the victim has also denied that she was molested by her uncle.
The State was represented by Public Prosecutor Bhanudas Gaonkar.
