Rajaram Tulekar, a 52-year-old resident of Margao, tragically lost his life in a self-accident while riding his two-wheeler on the Usgao-Tisk road. Preliminary reports suggest that the accident was caused by a pothole, which allegedly led Tulekar to lose control of his vehicle.
Local authorities are investigating the incident, while residents have renewed demands for urgent repairs and better maintenance of the accident-prone stretch. The tragedy has once again highlighted the risks posed by poorly maintained roads, especially during the monsoon season.
