MARGAO: Bandfol coasted a fluent 2-0 win over Durga in the Chinchinim inter-ward football league organized by Union of Chinchinim Villagers at church ground, Chinchinim, on Monday. Bandfol led 1-0 at the breather.
Bandfol held the upper hand in both the sessions and launched barrage of attacks and their efforts bore the fruit when Vicky Fernandes broke the deadlock in the 15th minute.
After the break, Bandol continued to enjoy the better share of exchanges and fired couple of pot shots against the rival goal. Veteran striker Chris Fernandes sealed the rival fate late in the second half.
