PANJIM: From coming Monday, all the applications for civil marriage registration will be accepted and processed online.

A notification in this regard was issued by the Department of Law and Judiciary on Thursday.
The department has said all the applications pertaining to registration of marriage will be accepted and processed online only without requiring the applicant to physically submit a copy of the application or associated supporting documentation, from November 16 onwards.
The Sub-Registrar Offices are instructed to process applications through online mode only.
The applicants to make online payment of registration fees and thereafter may avail the facility of generating appointment date and time through the system.
Until today, the applicants had to visit the Sub-Registrar Office with the required documents to seek appointment for marriage registration.
