MAPUSA: Panjim Gymkhana registered a comfortable seven wicket victory over Sunny Sports Club, Mapusa in Goa Cricket Association’s (GCA) Premier Division tournament league match at GCA ground, Porvorim, Thursday.
Panjim won the toss and elected to field as their opponents scored 171 runs in 44 overs. Srinivas Phadte was the pick of the Panjim bowlers as he clinched four wickets. In reply, Panjim chased the total in just 22 overs with a blistering 91 run knock by Swapneel Salvi.
