Crime Branch team led by PI Dattaram Raut conducted a successful raid on narcotics and psychotropic substances in Benaulim, Salcete. During the operation, a woman hailing from Mumbai was apprehended for allegedly being in possession of 5 grams of MDMA, with an estimated value of Rs 50,000.
The Crime Branch team comprised LASI Shital Naik, HC Ashok Gawade, PC Vinayak Sawant, PC Samiulla Makandar, and LPC Roshni Shirodkar. The investigation into the matter is ongoing under the supervision of PSI Girish T. Padloskar.
