Noted singer Hema Sardesai has revealed that she was recently approached by a senior politician and a national political party with offers to join their ranks and be nominated to the Rajya Sabha, an offer she says she declined.
In a candid statement, Sardesai disclosed, “A BJP supporter asked me to join the BJP, which I refused at the time. But if the party leadership approaches me directly, I may consider it,” she added, leaving the door open for future political engagement.
