PANJIM: The PWD has notified closure of two stretches of road on NH66 for all types of vehicular traffic in view of the construction of six-lane elevated corridor at Porvorim, to commence from August 8.
The road between Cyrus Nursery to Sangolda Junction, for a length of 175 metres will be closed and traffic will be diverted on both service roads. Similarly the road between junction near Delfino to Hotel Majestic, for a length of 220 metres will be closed and traffic will be diverted on left hand side service road.

The two roads will be closed for all types of vehicular traffic from August 8 to December 7, 2024, to facilitate hindrance free and speedy completion of the work, states the notification.
The PWD has requested public to take note of the same.
