Canacona police have arrested 30-year-old Mohd Farman, a native of Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly possessing 28.9 grams of MDMA valued at Rs 5.78 lakh near the local bus stand.
The accused is currently in police custody, and authorities have launched a further investigation to trace the source and intended distribution of the narcotics. The seizure reflects ongoing efforts by law enforcement to crack down on drug-related crimes in the region.
