Panjim police have arrested 36-year-old history sheeter Zenito Cardozo, who is alleged to be the main conspirator in the assault on activist Rama Kankonkar. Rahul Gupta, Superintendent of Police (SP), North Goa, confirmed that Zenito had active involvement in the crime.
According to Gupta, the prima facie motive for the attack appears to be “previous enmity,” with Zenito reportedly instructing the attacker gang to target Rama. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in the case.
