However, concerns have now been raised about its survival. Addressing a press conference, local social worker Lahu Petkar expressed fears that the Harvale Waterfall may face extinction in the near future. He alleged that encroachment by a nearby mining company threatens the natural flow and existence of the waterfall.

“Due to the encroachment of mining activities, we don’t know if this natural treasure will remain visible in the future,” Petkar said, urging immediate action to protect the site.
