The wait is over. Activist Rama Kankonkar, who was admitted to Goa Medical College following an assault in Caranzalem, was discharged this afternoon after nearly three weeks of treatment. Kankonkar had been receiving care for injuries sustained during the attack, and doctors confirmed that his condition had improved sufficiently for him to continue recovery at home.
Upon leaving the hospital, Kankonkar mentioned that he had given a three-hour statement to the police, which was recorded on video. While the focus of his statement was on the incident, he briefly expressed doubts regarding the involvement of certain political figures.
