RAIA: Infant Jesus High School, Colva, defeated Our Lady of Health High School, Cuncolim, 2-0, to enter the semi-finals of U-16 inter-school football tournament organised by Navelim Villagers Union, at Rosary Church ground, Navelim.
After a goalless first half, Prince Narne broke the deadlock in the 39th minute to give Infant Jesus HS the lead. Manglesh Bannikka sealed the victory with a fine strike in the 49th minute.
Earlier, Mount Mary High School, Chinchinim, demolished St Ann’s Institute, Agonda, 8-0 to move into the next round.
