Congress leader Rahul Gandhi dropped a massive “hydrogen bomb” on November 5, 2025, alleging widespread electoral fraud in the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections. Gandhi claimed that nearly 25 lakh electors in Haryana were fake, including 5,21,619 duplicate voters, 93,174 with invalid addresses, and 19,26,351 bulk voters registered at multiple addresses. This amounts to about 12.5% of the estimated 2 crore electorate in Haryana.
Gandhi highlighted the case of a Brazilian model’s photo being used to cast votes 22 times across ten polling booths under different names such as Seema, Sweety, and Saraswati. He accused the Election Commission and BJP leaders of colluding to manipulate voter rolls, effectively stealing the election and turning a predicted Congress landslide into a narrow defeat. Gandhi presented extensive evidence, including voter ID cards with the same photo but different names and addresses.
