Spotify has expanded its subscription lineup in India by launching three new Premium plans: Premium Lite, Premium Standard and Premium Platinum. The company said the broader range aims to cater to listeners with different usage needs, from simple ad-free streaming to advanced AI features. Premium Lite is priced at ₹139 per month and offers uninterrupted listening but excludes offline downloads. Premium Standard, at ₹199 per month, includes high-quality audio, ad-free playback and downloads. Students can get the same plan for ₹99. The top-tier Premium Platinum costs ₹299 and introduces AI DJ, AI-generated playlists, lossless audio and support for third-party DJ tools. It also allows adding two household members. Spotify has also updated shuffle mode for more variety, giving users the option to switch back to the classic version.
