Colva Police have arrested a man from Udupi, Karnataka, for a series of thefts at Goa resorts. He was caught after trespassing into a Benaulim resort on October 21, where he allegedly stole a gold rudraksh mala valued at ₹2 lakh and ₹40,000 in cash from one room, along with ₹80,000 from another. Police investigations revealed he had been targeting several resorts across South Goa using a similar method. His arrest has put focus on the rising number of migrant thieves operating in the state, with authorities now reviewing multiple related cases to identify further links.
