Two Injured in Koita Attack at Parra Following Alleged Love Triangle Dispute

Two persons sustained injuries in a violent assault involving a koita (sickle) at Parra, reportedly stemming from a dispute linked to a love triangle, police said. The incident occurred when four individuals allegedly attacked one person, leaving him seriously injured.

Another individual who attempted to intervene in the assault was also injured during the attack. Following the incident, one of the injured victims was shifted to the Goa Medical College (GMC) for further treatment, while the other is currently undergoing treatment at the Mapusa District Hospital.

Police officials confirmed that a case has been registered in connection with the incident. Further investigation is underway, with PSI Aditya Gad of the Mapusa Police Station probing the matter to determine the exact sequence of events and identify all persons involved in the assault.
