The Calangute Traffic Cell conducted a special drive against vehicles fitted with tinted glass, issuing challans and warnings to violators. The drive was carried out in the presence of PI Brendon D’Souza, with police personnel checking cars at key locations. The action followed instructions from Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, who had directed the police to strictly enforce rules against tinted vehicles. The issue was raised earlier by MLA Nilesh Cabral, prompting authorities to intensify enforcement to ensure road safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
