More than 500 youth and first-time voters from Ponda joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at a programme held in the town, marking a significant political development ahead of the coming electoral exercises. The event was attended by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who interacted with newly eligible voters and highlighted the party’s vision and governance record. BJP Goa President Damu Naik and BJP Vice President Narendra Sawaikar were also present, along with several party office-bearers. Welcoming the new members into the BJP Goa Parivar, Sawant said it was encouraging to see young voters placing their faith in the party’s values and long-term vision. He added that the BJP remained committed to inclusive development and welfare-driven governance, guided by the principles of Antyodaya and Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas.
