Holy Cross High School, Bastora Hosts ‘Prerna’ Exhibition Showcasing Student Innovation and Creativity

Holy Cross High School, Bastora, successfully organised its annual school exhibition ‘Prerna’ from January 26 to 28, 2026, presenting a vibrant display of innovative projects and creative works developed by students from various disciplines. The exhibition was held under the inspiring theme “Innovate, Integrate, Ignite, Inspire.”

The event was inaugurated on January 26, immediately following the Republic Day celebrations. Mrs. Sermia Cynthia Gonsalves, Assistant Director (Adult Section), Directorate of Education, Goa, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and formally inaugurated the exhibition. Mr. Parag Shah, Director – Logistics & Distribution, Commscope Pvt. Ltd., attended the programme as the Guest of Honour.

The inaugural ceremony began at 8.15 a.m., after which the exhibition was opened to visitors. It was open to the public on January 26 from 10.30 a.m. to 12 noon, and on January 27 and 28 from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

Students showcased an impressive array of projects highlighting creativity, innovation and hands-on learning. The exhibits drew widespread appreciation from parents, teachers and visitors alike. The school management and staff commended the students for their efforts and encouraged them to further nurture their creative and scientific thinking skills.

The exhibition was organised under the guidance of art teacher Mr. Tyrone Souza, with Sr. Wendy Sequeira, Headmistress, providing leadership and support for the initiative.
