Margao witnessed a spiritually vibrant moment as the “Chinmaya Amrit Yatra” passed through the city, attracting devotees and residents who gathered to welcome the specially designed vehicle carrying messages of wisdom and devotion.
The yatra, organised by Chinmaya Mission, seeks to propagate the teachings and vision of Swami Chinmayananda, with the central theme “Gyāna Ganga – A river of wisdom circling the world,” symbolising the continuous flow of spiritual knowledge.

As the yatra moved through Margao, devotees lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the vehicle, offer prayers and express their reverence. The initiative aims to promote spiritual awareness, Indian culture and core human values among people across the country.
Organisers said that the yatra will travel to different parts of Goa, engaging with the public through spiritual discourses, cultural interactions and outreach programmes, with the objective of inspiring individuals to lead purposeful and value-based lives.
