A 4.7-foot crocodile was rescued from a well at Teerthbhagh in Mayem, Bicholim, on Tuesday in a swift rescue operation carried out by local animal rescuers.
The reptile was spotted in a well belonging to a local resident, prompting an alert to rescuers. The operation was led by Amrut Singh, President of the Animal Rescue Squad, along with team members Angad Kamat, Bhumi Jain, Anuj Fulari and Mayuri Patil.
