Police in Cuncolim have registered a kidnapping case following a complaint by a woman alleging that her minor daughter was taken away from her lawful guardianship.
According to the complaint, the girl was allegedly abducted on February 28 by an accused person from Taleigao. The complainant, a resident of Cuncolim, informed police that the accused is originally from Karnataka.

An FIR has been registered under relevant provisions of the Goa Children Act, and police have initiated further investigation into the matter. Authorities are working to trace the accused and locate the missing minor.
