Kedar Naik has urged citizens not to indulge in panic buying of fuel, assuring that there is no shortage of supply across the state.
Addressing concerns over long queues at petrol pumps, the MLA said the rush at outlets is largely due to unnecessary stocking by the public rather than any actual supply disruption. He appealed to residents to remain calm and avoid hoarding fuel, which is creating temporary inconvenience.
Naik emphasized that sufficient fuel stocks are available and that the situation remains under control. He also called on the public to cooperate with authorities to ensure smooth distribution and prevent further congestion at fuel stations.
The appeal comes amid growing anxiety among consumers, with officials reiterating that there is no need for panic as supplies continue to remain stable.
