Delhi Man Stages ₹10 Lakh Robbery at Own Home, Threatens Father at Gunpoint; Arrested Within 24 Hours

In a shocking incident in Delhi, a man allegedly masterminded a ₹10 lakh robbery at his own residence, threatening his father at gunpoint and firing several rounds in the air to stage the crime.

Police identified the accused as Tavleen, who reportedly carried out the act with the help of two associates. The trio is said to have entered the house, brandished a firearm at his father, and executed the robbery before fleeing with the cash.

The Delhi Police acted swiftly, arresting all three accused within 24 hours of the incident. The two accomplices, who were employed at the victim’s factory, were also taken into custody. Officials confirmed that the entire looted amount of ₹10 lakh has been successfully recovered.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajiv Kumar stated that authorities received information about the incident through a PCR call and immediately launched a probe. Investigators scanned CCTV footage along the suspected escape route, which proved crucial in cracking the case.

A key breakthrough came when one of the accused briefly removed his mask near Anand Vihar. When the footage was shown to the victim, he identified the individual as his own son.

The main accused was later apprehended from Mukherjee Nagar, while his accomplices had fled to Lucknow. They were subsequently arrested near a toll plaza in Lucknow. Police confirmed that both associates are residents of Bihar.
