The initiative aims to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers by leveraging the extensive postal network. Officials stated that the move is designed to ensure that customers receive high-quality mangoes sourced straight from orchards, maintaining freshness while keeping delivery costs reasonable. Each box, containing approximately two dozen mangoes, is priced at ₹1,550, making it a convenient option for mango lovers during the peak season.

The service also includes provisions for customer satisfaction, with replacement promised in cases where the fruit is damaged or spoiled during transit.
