Police in Bicholim have arrested Shaikh Mohamad Huzef (26) for allegedly attempting to murder a man by repeatedly striking him on the head with a rubble stone, officials said.
The victim, identified as Vijay Pal (38), a native of Uttar Pradesh, sustained severe head injuries in the attack and is currently undergoing treatment.

According to police, the assault involved multiple blows to the victim’s head, indicating a serious attempt on his life. The case was registered based on a complaint filed by the victim’s wife.
