A rash and negligent driving case has been registered against the driver of a blue Maruti Ignis following an accident near Pirate’s Den Restaurant and Bar in Carmona on Thursday morning. The scooter involved was ridden by Maria Colaco, 54, with Adonia Colaco as the pillion rider. Both residents of Mobor, Salcete, reportedly fell onto the road after the collision and sustained injuries. Maria Colaco is said to have suffered grievous injuries, while Adonia sustained minor injuries. Police have registered an offence under Sections 281, 125(a), and 125(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
