Battlegrounds Mobile India, popularly known as BGMI, is once again making headlines with reports of a major crossover event in its upcoming 4.4 update. According to recent leaks, the game could soon collaborate with the highly anticipated pan-Indian film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups starring Yash.
Known for introducing exciting promotional collaborations, BGMI has previously partnered with global entertainment franchises, sports brands, and blockbuster films to keep players engaged. The latest rumoured crossover with Toxic is expected to bring a fresh action-packed experience inspired by the movie’s intense gangster theme.
As per industry leaks shared by LetsGrowEsports, the collaboration may include exclusive themed outfits, special lobby music, and limited-time in-game events centred around Yash’s character. Fans are also expecting unique cosmetic items and rewards connected to the film’s visual style. Since Yash enjoys massive popularity across India following the success of K.G.F: Chapter 1 and K.G.F: Chapter 2, the event is already generating significant excitement within the BGMI community.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features a star-studded cast including Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria alongside Yash. Reports suggest the film is being made on a massive budget of ₹700–800 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever produced.
Although Toxic was initially scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, reports indicate that the film has now been postponed to June 4, 2026. Meanwhile, BGMI players eagerly await official confirmation regarding the collaboration in the upcoming 4.4 update.
