CBI Probes Rajasthan Family in NEET-2026 Paper Leak Case; Five Relatives Secured Medical Seats

The investigation into the alleged NEET-2026 paper leak has taken a new turn, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) focusing on a family from Jammaramgarh in Jaipur Rural, Rajasthan, after five members of the same family reportedly secured admissions to medical colleges.

According to the probe, the CBI initially suspected the involvement of four family members but later discovered that five relatives had successfully cleared the highly competitive medical entrance examination, raising questions about a possible organised paper leak network.

Investigators revealed that Dinesh’s daughter, Gunjan, qualified in NEET and secured admission at Banaras Medical College. The daughters of Dinesh and Mangilal’s elder brother, Ghanshyam — identified as Palak and Sonia — also cleared the examination. Sonia is currently studying at a medical college in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Mangilal’s daughter Prakriti reportedly gained admission to Dausa Medical College, while Vikas secured a seat at Sawai Madhopur Medical College.

The CBI suspects that the network involved in the alleged paper leak has been functioning systematically for several years. During the investigation, officials traced a chain of connections allegedly stretching from Dhananjay in Ahilyabai Nagar, Maharashtra, to Shubham Khairnar in Nasik, and further to Yash Yadav in Haryana.

Investigators stated that Yash Yadav, who had earlier prepared for NEET in Sikar, later came into contact with Vikas. This connection allegedly linked Dinesh and Mangilal to the wider network.

According to the agency, around the Diwali period, Yash allegedly assured Vikas and Mangilal that the NEET examination paper could be arranged in advance. The probe further claims that Dinesh paid a substantial amount of money to obtain the leaked paper for his son Rishi and nephew Aman.

The CBI is continuing its investigation to uncover the full extent of the alleged examination racket and identify others who may have been involved in facilitating admissions through unfair means.
