IMD ISSUES THUNDERSTORM ALERT FOR NORTH AND SOUTH GOA

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a short-term weather alert for several parts of North and South Goa over the next three hours. According to the warning, talukas including Pernem, Bicholim, Sattari, Sanguem, Quepem, and Canacona are likely to witness thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, gusty winds, and light rainfall.

Wind speeds are expected to range between 30-40 kmph in isolated areas. Residents have been advised to remain cautious, especially while travelling or staying in open spaces during the weather activity.
