Mapusa Police Arrest Olaulim Resident with Hydroponic Ganja Worth Rs 3.75 Lakh in Parra Raid

Mapusa Police arrested Brenden Lobo, a resident of Olaulim, for allegedly possessing 250 grams of hydroponic ganja valued at approximately Rs 3.75 lakh during a narcotics raid conducted at Maadani in Parra.

According to police, the accused was apprehended during a targeted operation, during which officers recovered the suspected contraband from his possession.

In addition to the hydroponic weed, police also seized cash believed to be connected to the alleged offence, along with the scooter that was reportedly used in the commission of the crime.

The seized narcotics have an estimated market value of Rs 3.75 lakh. A case has been registered under the relevant provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the source and intended distribution network of the contraband.

Police are continuing their probe into the case and have not ruled out the possibility of additional arrests.
