Students of Shree Chandreshwar Bhootnath Higher Secondary School, Ambaulim, brought laurels to their institution with a stellar performance at the District Kudo Tournament 2026, held on August 16 at the Indoor Stadium, Pedem.
A total of 13 students represented the school at the tournament, competing against talented Kudo athletes from across the district. Displaying remarkable fighting skills, confidence, discipline and sportsmanship, all 13 participants succeeded in securing medals.

The school team returned with an impressive haul of 3 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals and 6 Bronze Medals, ensuring that every student representing the institution finished on the podium.
The achievement is a reflection of the students’ dedication, rigorous training and determination to excel in the martial arts discipline.
The team competed under the guidance of Renshi Nityanand Juvekar, President of the Kudo Martial Arts Association of Goa, while dedicated training was provided by coach Neharika Juvekar.
The school management, Principal, teachers and staff congratulated all the medal winners and commended their commitment and sportsmanship. The institution also praised the students for confidently taking on some of the district’s strongest Kudo competitors.
The school expressed hope that the young martial artists will continue their winning journey and bring greater recognition to Shree Chandreshwar Bhootnath Higher Secondary School and Quepem in upcoming competitions.
