The deteriorating condition of roads in Curchorem has sparked concern among residents, with large potholes reportedly creating serious hazards for motorists and pedestrians.
Social activist Vishal Noguerio, along with Rocky D’Costa, raised the issue on Monday after a woman reportedly met with an accident and sustained injuries, allegedly due to the poor condition of the road.

The activists claimed that several roads across Curchorem are in a severely damaged state, alleging that motorists are being forced to negotiate deep potholes and uneven stretches on a daily basis.
They also questioned the local MLA over what they described as a lack of adequate attention to the worsening road conditions, and called for immediate intervention from the authorities.
Residents have urged the concerned departments to undertake urgent repairs and restore the roads before the deteriorating conditions result in further accidents or injuries.
